Rec ball (short for recreational softball), is a softball league for 4-16 year old girls of all skill levels and abilities, from beginner to advanced. Our rec ball program places an emphasis on fun, teamwork, fundamentals, and the development of all players. Miss Sarasota provides evaluations for girls to assess skill level. However, every girl registered in our program is guaranteed a spot on a team. The rec-ball league allows equal playing time for all players and allows our coaches to teach the game of softball to the individual, which gives our players the chance to develop their skills at their own pace.

Our vision:
We believe in providing a recreational league that focuses on proper fundamental development of the sport. In doing so, it allows for a healthy team environment to take place. When this is achieved, not only does the program compete on a higher level, crucial life skills are learned that aid in maturity and growth in regards to self-confidence, communication, empathy, work ethic, accountability, self-respect, and integrity.
